The C⁵Lab has the mission of providing a platform of applied and multi-disciplinary research at the highest international level, which contributes to the qualified and scientific employment in the cement industry, committed to increase the competitiveness of the national industry in the context of the RNC2050, PNEC2030 and of the SDG.

This platform connects closely industry with scientific and state laboratory institutions to drive new ways of working and innovating inside the sector and across the construction value chain to accelerate collaboration on cement and concrete innovation as an important step to intensify climate action.

The C⁵Lab aims at being an R&D platform that integrates many of the infrastructure resources already available in the structures of its partners in order to avoid duplication of structures and extra burden. At the same time it receives the support of high qualified human resources that will get the maximum out of the existing infrastructure.
