c5Lab researcher participates as a speaker at the Biotechnology Conference
On May 17th, the c5Lab researcher José Condeço participated in the Biotechnology Conference, organized by the Escola Superior de Tecnologia do Barreiro, Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal.
The researcher was part of the session dedicated to technologies for decarbonisation, where he presented the communication “Photosynthesis and CCU Technologies”. In his presentation, the work carried out by c5Lab in collaboration with the cement industry was disclosed and he showed what is the interaction of companies with universities and research institutes, regarding technology transfer, so that one arrives at the scenario of a drastic reduction in emissions by 2050. The CCU technologies presented were contextualized in terms of TRL – Technology Readiness Level – concept extremely important in industrial implementation scenarios.
