Potential of calcined clays to replace clinker was presented at a congress
The c5Lab researcher Karyne Ferreira dos Santos participated in the 4th International Congress on Materials & Structural Stability where she presented a poster on the pozzolanic potential of portuguese calcined clays as clinker substitute.
The initiative took place between the 5th and 11th of March in Morocco and hosted the Spring Convention of RILEM - The International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures, which promoted meetings of various committees, including one on the performance requirements and testing of fresh printable cement-based materials (303-PFC) and another on calcined clays as supplementary cementitious materials (282-CCL), to which the researcher is a member.
