c5Lab participates in the European Catalysis Congress
The c5Lab researcher Daniela Spataru took part in the 15th European Catalysis Congress, which took place between August 27 and September 1 in Prague. The work, presented as a poster, dealt with the study of more realistic conditions for the Sabatier reaction, which aims to combine CO2 and green hydrogen to produce methane, as a promising alternative for decarbonizing the cement industry.
The poster presented the results of the investigation into the influence of oxygen in the methanation process feed and its impact on the performance of the catalysts studied.
